Community Code of Conduct
At 4US, we are building more than a community. We are creating a space where individuals can grow personally and professionally through connection, leadership, learning, and opportunity.
Participation in the 4US community, including our Slack channels, events, workshops, and digital platforms, requires agreement to and adherence with this Code of Conduct. We are committed to cultivating an environment where every member feels respected, valued, heard, seen, and empowered to contribute.
Community Expectations
Lead with Respect
Treat every member with professionalism, kindness, and respect. Differences in experiences, backgrounds, opinions, and perspectives strengthen our community and should be embraced.
Create Space for Every Voice
We encourage healthy conversations and diverse viewpoints. Listen actively and engage thoughtfully. Ensure others have opportunities to contribute and avoid dominating discussions.
Build Others Up
Be intentional about encouraging, supporting, and empowering fellow members. Celebrate wins, share knowledge, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to a culture of growth.
Be Authentic
Show up as your genuine self. We believe meaningful relationships and real impact are created through honesty, transparency, and integrity.
Practice Professional Conduct
Keep interactions constructive and appropriate. Maintain a standard of professionalism in all communication, collaboration, and engagement within the community.
Protect Privacy and Trust
Respect the confidentiality of conversations and shared experiences. Do not distribute private information, screenshots, personal stories, or sensitive content shared by members without explicit permission.
Unacceptable Behavior
The following behaviors are inconsistent with the values of 4US and will not be tolerated.
- Harassment, intimidation, bullying, or discriminatory language or behavior
- Personal attacks, insults, or disrespectful communication
- Hate speech or content targeting race, ethnicity, gender, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or personal identity
- Excessive self-promotion, spam, or unsolicited sales activity
- Disruptive behavior intended to derail conversations or diminish others
- Sharing confidential information without permission
- Inappropriate, offensive, or harmful content
- Retaliation against any member who raises concerns or reports misconduct
Accountability
The 4US team reserves the right to review conduct that violates this Code of Conduct and determine appropriate action.
- A private conversation or warning
- Temporary restrictions on participation
- Removal from community channels or events
- Permanent removal from the 4US community
Conflict Resolution
Disagreements may happen, and respectful dialogue is encouraged. We ask members to approach conflicts with empathy, professionalism, and a willingness to understand differing perspectives. If concerns arise, members are encouraged to contact the 4US team directly so issues can be addressed fairly and thoughtfully.
Our Community Promise
4US exists because growth happens together. When you join this community, you commit to creating an environment where people feel respected, heard, seen, supported, and challenged to become the best version of themselves. We are building this community for us, by us, and with us.
